Promoting Dental Awareness from a Young Age
We believe that a lifetime of good oral health starts with early education. Our team is passionate about promoting positive dental habits among children.
Engaging Young Minds: We provide fun, interactive dental talks to our local daycares, designed to teach children the importance of brushing, healthy eating, and visiting the dentist.
Building Positive Associations: Our goal is to make dental health engaging and to build a foundation of positive experiences that last a lifetime.
Proudly Supporting Local Grassroots Sport
We’re proud to be deeply connected to our local community, supporting grassroots sport and the people who make it thrive.
As the trusted dental providers for the Fremantle Dockers, we care for elite athletes while staying true to our commitment to everyday families.
Our support extends across local clubs including Melville Tennis Club, as well as sponsoring players from the East Fremantle Sharks and Cockburn Basketball Association.
It’s all part of our belief in giving back and helping our community stay healthy, active, and smiling.
Volunteering and Professional Leadership
Dr Michael volunteers fortnightly at St Pats Oral Health Clinic, the first of its kind in WA, offering free dental services to people in our community experiencing homelessness.
Long-Standing Volunteer: Dr. Michael is a regularly volunteer at St Pats Fremantle, offering pro bono dental care to disadvantaged members of our community.
Leading His Field : He is the Immediate Past President and a current committee member of the Australian Society of Endodontists (WA Branch), contributing to the advancement of specialist dental care.
Partnering with CARAD
Providing Care for Asylum Seekers and Refugees
Understanding that access to dental care is a significant challenge for some of the most vulnerable, our practice steps in to help.
Pro Bono Dental Care: Dr. Michael and Dr. Ganathy provide essential dental treatment for patients referred through the Centre for Asylum Seekers, Refugees and Detainees (CARAD).
Bridging the Gap: We offer care to those who are not eligible for Medicare and have no other means of accessing dental services, ensuring they receive the treatment they need.
A Safe Space for Healing
Previously Hosting Healing Smiles
We believe everyone deserves to feel safe and comfortable when receiving dental care, especially those who have experienced trauma.
Providing a Safe Haven: Prior to Healing Smiles opening their own dedicated clinic, Attadale Dental Centre opened its doors to provide a secure and professional environment for their work.
Supporting Survivors of Domestic Violence: We were honoured to host Healing Smiles dentist Dr. Stephanie Tan, offering a safe space for her to care for patients who are victims of domestic violence, helping them overcome great personal anxiety to look after their health.
